Dear FriendsI am a volunteer fundraiser for the Royal National Institute of the Blind in the UK and urgently need your help.
The RNIB provides over sixty services to blind and partially sighted children and adults and can only continue to do this with constant fundraising. My job in the RNIB is to collect as many postage stamps as I can get from the UK and anywhere in the world. This is where I need your time just while you open your post.
Please could you send stamps to me at RNIB Stamp Recycling, PO Box 185, Benfleet, SS7 9BH at anytime of the year, whatever the amount large or small we need them to sell to raise funds. Please spead the word to friends, family, work colleagues, school pals etc. If possible could stamps be cut or torn leaving 1/2 - 1cm of paper surrounding the stamp to prevent damage. Please do not take off the envelope, but the back of the envelope would help (it will also be chaeper to send). We raise approximately £10 - £12 for stamps from overseas and £1.50 for UK stamps.
For more information, questions and poster request please email me at Puddenhead@blueyonder.co.uk or visit the RNIB website at www.rnib.org.uk
I thank you for your time and hope that you will be able to send even a few stamps to us.
Kind regards
Terri Bush
