Al Capone home on Lily Lake in Lakemoor

I am new to this area & as always have an undying want to know the local folklore.

I was walking near the lake when a fellow resident showed me an old decomposing tower on the shore of the lake. I was told it was one of Al Capones hide outs. I was also told that capone & his valley gang used to dump body's at the Volo Bog.

I did a rather long research on the computer without finding much about it.

Does anybody know where I can find information on this?

I don't have any information about that. However, I am trying to do some research about the rumors that Al Capone used to rent out the entire third floor of the Bernardini Hotel in Nokomis, Illinois. The hotel is still standing today and in fact, I used to own the hotel building until January of this year. There are a lot of unusual things on the third floor of the old hotel. Does anyone know of any confirming stories or has anyone heard of this before??

Is there anyone that knows info about al capone living in victorville, california, I found info. that he had a house in fontana , ca about 40 miles away and he had tunnels dug under that house for escape. I have a friend that has a house built in 1914 and she has heard capone use to run illeagal things up the mojave river that is several hundred yards from her house, in her bedroom there is a trap door that goes to tunnels under her house, they run to several houses in the area. Hello yes, Al capone had a house in Fontana, Ca., it was real close to the railroad tracks.......My sister lived a few houses down from that house......

I heard that too about the tower i live a few blocks away from it, but i heard that they found it to not be true also a personal friend owned a house that belonged to al capone and in the basement thier was a void, they did a ultrasound but never opened the void, they lived thier for 10 years and never looked, i wouldnt be able to just leave it but its in long grove illinois

The capone mansion in Fontana is in the city of Fontana off of tamarind and Merrill.

I lived in a house were Mr Al Capone lived for a while, 07107 north 12th street Newark NJ. I was Born in Newark and lived there 81-90, then we moved to Europe, Portugal. My father actually spoke to Mr Capone wene he bought the house. If anyone could give me info about this I would be very gratefull, my dad only has his memory of the day, no substancial proof or evidence. Ferraz.
