I am currently pursuing my B.com and entered into the 2nd year.I was intrested to take a course in Logistics and Supply chain management.I wanted to ask a few questions.1)What is the scope of this field and does it have a good future prospect? 2)In order to pursue further in that field I believe that one can do a M.Sc in LSCM and is it possible to do so after B.com. 3)Does the university of Pune have a masters course in LSCM? 4)What are the industries that are involved in this field and after doing this course which are the industries that will be open to me? Thank you so much for your responses!

"SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT"
Logistics is just one arm of the supply chain. Supply chain includes from finding a raw material to handing over a final product in the hands of customers. Broadly, a supply chain has four stages – Sourcing, Procurement, Conversion and Logistics. Logistics management itself has emerged as a profession. Basically Supply Chain Management and Logistics Management are interconnected. Another important part of Supply Chain is Liasoning which also provides ample career opportunities. To know more LEARN FROM THE LEADERS FROM THE INDUSTRY Symposium on Supply Chain Practices and Emerging Trends for Students, Academicians and Professionals.
