CEH is the entry level certification in the security field but to do CEH course you should have sound knowledge System & Networking. For which you have to do MCSE & CCNA. Because CEH is the security course and to secure any system or network you should know the syatem first.

No one company will give their system to secure until and unless you dont know the system.
