WOW! There are alot of mounds and earthworks in Indiana that were built by the Adena and Hopewell Indians over 2000 years ago. If you want to find directions, I would suggest this book. There are over 80 sites in Indiana and over 100 in Ohio.

A Photographic Essay and Guide to the Adena, Hopewell Sioux and Iroquois, Mounds and Earthworks, 1000 B.C. to 500 A.D.
