I am a British woman living in Amman for two years with my husband and three children. My husband is also British and is here on a work contract. I am obviously not married to a Jordanian but also feel isolated in a new place with no family or friends here. Would be great to hear from people similar.

Hi Anyone, am an expat too, living in sweifieh, Amman, I feel a bit desperate now, but I would like to get in touch with other western expats since am feeling a bit isolated. Amman has many nice places and its always crowded, inspite of that, the different mentality here, makes me feel quite isolated. hope to hear from someone, would be nice to have a cup of coffee together. wellness@live.nl
