I have received yesterday an SMS from your manager saying that i have won a toyota land cruiser vehicle , i contacted them on the number given and the manager asked about my ID number and my full address , and he also said that this is all true and not a joke , and he also said that i have to send 500 dollars to the directory . he said also that he will send me an SMS about the number of the directory. iam calling from lebanon , please answer me if this is all true.the manager's number is 254737505287.

Same here, from South.Africa these fraudsters are trying to Con people into calling, once u call you get charged huge amounts per second, dont know how they got my number and sms'd me.

didnt do anything about it yet.... i wish they can track numbers.... i have new numbers cause they send me the sms first then they asked for money and that i should send them money by western union to this name in kenyA: CHRISTOPHER MAINGI MAUYE...I Hope this helps to track them out . and then after sending 1000 us dollars they asked for more so they can send the vehicle to my home country in kuwait...when i said no and i want my money back they stopped calling anyway this is their new numbers: +254726909709 ..+254714136854

I am from South Africa and I am currently working in Qatar. I also received a message about winning a Land Cruiser and the s cant even spell correctly. Why would you get send a sms asking you to call them, they shuold call you and congratulate you if you really win something and this wasn't even my own cell number, it was a qtel number that I got on prepaid when I came to Qatar, how the hell do they get hold of it.

You don't get it... they don't "get your number" They simply send their SMSs to every phone number there is! They hope a few suckers will fall for their scam... and it appears that a few do!

They in the process with me now. I have telephone numbers contact names and still today they send me a message that I must pay the transportation cost. They have informed me that I will get my vehicle saturday 13 september. It sounds and look so true. I did not pay them. What can I do to stop these pople of conning others. Allot of poeple have fallen for this scam, I almost did. There email address is so real but where it struct me the account you pay in is personal accounts. When I spoke to them they gave me one account and the next day they gave some else account. They dont know that I now. Who can help me catch this poeple.

i have received the message from the number: +255756232672 that i won Toyota Land Cruiser and give me two options.

1.I directly collected the Land Cruiser from kenya.

2.He also asked me to send 1000/- US doller though Westron Union by the name of Mrs.Leah Wamboi Ndirangu as dilevry fee.

what is your opinion about this. if you have any scheme of such type please inform me though e.mail or telephon.

When my girlfriend recieved two sms's, first was written in english and second one was in Swahili/Shona, about her winning of the land cruiser vx, she was told to call Eric to claim her price.But i went to check on the toyota website.But there was no Eric as a contact person for toyota kenya, when she did follow up on the sms about her winning, she manange to get hold of Eric, but he told her to contact her the followin day, since it was after hours.She did ccall the following day.But before that he wanted her to sms all her details, now to cut the story short, she called and was told to deposit R2000 on the personal account.She will get her car on Monday.
