I also recieved a message but it was for a Toyota Prado.

Infact the message read, "CONGRATULATIONS YOU'VE WON A TOYOTA PRADO FROM TOYOTA KENYA IN CONJUNCTION WITH WORLD INTERNET, CALL (NUMBER GIVEN), EMAIL (EMAIL ADDRESS GIVEN).

I sent an email and asked for information, their reply was for me to give them my personal details, which I had already given.

I sent an email to Japanese motors and I was advised to give details and send US$1000.for taxation and delivery.

Should I believe this?

What do I do?

I called that manager and who answered me told me to send my name and Passport No in SMS and call back for details. His way showed that he is not a qualified person who should answer phones in an international company or to be a manager. any way, I ignored the whole issue. You all do the same...

then I called them and they gave me an email address and asked me to send my personal details and the following text is what they have repplied me:

Welcome to toyota international headquarters kenya. we are going to transport your Land Cruiser from kenya to iran International airport using a cargo plane whereby you have to send one thousand dollars so that we can book a ticket for the car from the Kenya international Airways. You should send the one thousand dollars from Iran to kenya through western Union transfer services and after sending, you should e mail our company the senders name, money transfer control number( MTCN) and a testing question and answer. You have to transfer the money under the name and adress of the managing director of the Toyota International Headquarters in Kenya. His names are Allan Ndiguitha, ID No. 24928235.Address 33065 NairobiCell no. +254 725348074

Toyota did not send you such a message and it is a scam. You will be ask to pay shipping and/or taxes and not get anything at all, ever!
