hi everyone.

i was just wondering if anyone know of a kenyan food, its madde just out of flour and sugar i think. you flatten it down at first, then put it in a pan of oil, as you being to cook it, it pops up like a balloon.

if you think you know what im talking about could you please tell me. thankks

Hi Alex : The dish you are thinking about is called Mandazi (Mandaazi) - it is made with flour, milk, sugar - typically, although you can add an egg, baking powder and butter if you wish.

Once all ingrediants mixed together make it into any shape you wish and fry it in oil.
