Can someone tell me which is the best place to buy local art(paintings)classic and modern. Is it Vientiane or Luang Prabang?

There are more galleries in vientiane than luang prabang - a good place to visit would be Treasures of Asia gallery that specializes in contemporary painting from lao artists and reproduction of old photos and maps from laos and other countries from south east asia.

As we know OIL PAINTING is very prevalent in western country and hotel, supermarket, home and so forth always buy oil paintings to decorate.

Now there are more and more businessmen or the owners of galleries come here(China) to purchase oil painting and than sell to hotel/supermarket/home for decoration. The price of oil paintings on the website of western galleries always need ranging from one thousand to eight thousand usd. But the businessmen purchase here just need maybe ranging from 10 to 200 usd. So if you want to decorate your hotel, why not buy directly from here. Also maybe you can do the business as well if you have the information about hotels.

You can visit our website but we donot upload so many pictures to the website. if you show interest, we have more than twenty thousand pictures for your choice. In fact, you also can down load pictures from the website of the western galleries and then send to us to paint for you. If you want to decorate your hotel now or later, please contact me.
