In short, it is difficult. Firstly, you cannot simply go out and buy a property in Laos. The law does not allow this. You can go around by forming partnerships but the may include certain risks etc. To apply for business may take 6 months etc. What is your plans?

Land for Sales

This is a legitimate offer to sell a lot in Vientiane, Laos; within walking distance from Dong Dok National University. It has 6, 150 square meters in total for the price of 900 baht (Thai) per one square meter.

It’s great for residential development for the thousands of University students, other projects possible with the approval of the zoning office.

Vientiane is currently in shortage of rental properties given the influx of migrant workers and up coming SEA Games in late 2009.

I been living in Thailand for the past 12 month, and to reniew my visa i been going to Vientiane, It appen i really like the city and I was wondering if there is a possibility of renting a shop to start some business, I'm an Italian chef and of course

will be nice to rent a small restaurant, i will be very thankfully for any suggestion.

I have a lot for sale in That Thong village, Vientainne. Total sqm is 14936 and it is next to the Lao National University Water resources Department. 6-8 km from the airport, 10-12 km from the inner city. The lot is a potenial to make housing apartments for the students since housing is not enough. The lot is 500m behind the univeristy. If interested please reply to asbpmp21@hotmail.com have photos. I have 2 rai of land for sale at Nonsavahn village. This is about 15 minutes from the city centre and about 5 minutes from the 6km golf course. I am asking 500baht per sq metre. You could divide it in to two parts if you wished, but we wish to sell as a whole. The land is flat and needs no fill.

I would like to know how much cost per sq metre (average or a range of price) :

- a piece of land along the Mekong in Vientiane located between the Airport until the Km8 on Thadeua (max the clock)

- a piece of land within the town (centre)
