I'm very close to heading to Monrovia for who knows how long for a job but things have sort of hit a snag on the home front. My wife and I found out yesterday morning that she is pregnant with triplets!!!My problem is obviously what to do with my family. Before the triplet news, my wife and I were just going to live apart with trips as often as possible. How would Monrovia be for a new family? I'd hate to pass up the job as I would financially be able to take very good care of my family with it, and my wife would not have to work. What is the housing market like? I’ve looked around on the net and can’t really find anything of any relevance. Any information etc. that you could pass on would be great. Thanks in advance, Michael Trackbacks

Michael, Monrovia for a family is a bit hectic. Healthcare is the biggest snag. Moving higher up in the country (about 200 miles), you will get a town called Gahnpa (ganta). Housing is much better, and health care is better. If the travelling distance to Gahnpa is to far for you, try to get a place in Monrovia close to the UN base. Hope you come right. rgds, Mark
