What kind of salaries can an Expat expect? Higher than US, lower, the same? I have been approached to do work as an independent contractor, but don't know how much I can charge. This is with a US company and it would be a 2 year project where they provide the housing.

I have an interview for a job in Libya, but I need to know how much an expat is usually get paid for a management position, in order for me to negotiate !!
