Dear AllI am Ahmed and i am currently in Cairo Egypt but might be moving to Libya in the near future, I have been to Libya, to be more specific Tripoli, Once back in 2005 to tell u the truth i liked it so much and to be frank with you i liked the old part of Tripoli it reminded me of the old Cairo and some parts of Heiliopolis where i live. I remember i couldn't find any pubs or clubs or places where you can listen to live music, i think this what is missing in Tripoli it can be really open city where all people can show part of their culture and music and history. I remember there was no McDonald's nor any American food chain, i heard thou that there are some British food chains in Tripoli now in addition to some Egyptian food chains like Momen and cookdoor. I am an open minded guy and i am open to different cultures and i have been to abroad a lot have seen many parts of the US been there about 4 times and been to UK twice before, I really like travelling and meeting new people but i am little bit tense this time as i ll have to spend some time in Libya and its totally different than just visiting for some time. Living somewhere is totally different than just visiting! I wish i can make good friends there and have a good time in Tripoli. Take good care and don't hesitate to contact me anytime my Yahoo ID is maninthemirror28 God Bless You all and La ilah illa alah :) Ahmed

Hey!I heard there will be a Big Mac outlet in Tripoli very soon. The United States and Libya are now very close partners. Momen and Cok Door are Pepsi outlets. I know Coca Cola isn't restricted in Tripoli. Cheers! BG

A country that truly cared about its people would ban Coca Cola, Pepsi and all other Sweet, processed, and/or unnatural drinks.
