Hi everybody, my name is Olga, i am 31 years old, have moved to luxembourg area 2 months ago due to my work. I used to live the last year in Geneva where also worked for SAP project. You can try a link for expats community in Geneva www.glocals.com, it would be nice to have something more or less the same in Luxembourg. I am sure there are a lot of interesting people in Lux area too. I would like to meet other expats to have a drink /fun together. If it is interesting please drop me a line - rfavourite@gmail.com

Dear Mr./Mrs., The province of Limburg (The Netherlands) has initiated a project on expatriates within the Euregio Maas-Rhine. This project will investigate and map the expatriates social life and will provide the province of Limburg with recommondations on improving the situation in the region. Before any of such recommondations can be made a research has to be done. Through the province of Limburg a project team, including myself, has been set up to do the research. However, before we want to officially start with the definitions and design of our research we would like to get more acquainted with Euregio's and metropols and it's inhabitants. Since SaarLorLux is a well-known internationally orientated Euregio we would like to ask you some questions via e-mail. Since the expatriates project has been initiated to improve the social and working life of expatriates this is hopefully a great incentive to participate. My e-mail adress is d.rikkengaa @student.unimaas.nl. If you are willing to assist us please send me an e-mail. Thanks in advance for your help, David Rikkengaa Sarah Owerdieck Yann Delomez Expatriates United Research Project

Its nice to know that you are all happy to be in Luxembourg. Unfortunately those of us who require work/residence permit in Luxembourg are not allowed to bring in our young and fragile families until we've spent more than 12 months in the country. You cannot even invite them for a visit because you need to complete a guarantor form only after 12 months also. I earn over 70, 000 Euro per annum, yet cannot bring in my family. All these came up only after arriving in Luxembourg. My wife feels betrayed and I have already resigned from my earlier job, hence going back home might bring more hardship. I guess you understand how I mean. I think the new law doesnt support the family.

Hi, I'm now 42 with grown up children and have lovely memories of Luxembourg, as a nanny in my teens. I am now looking to move over for a year to write and would greatly value any new contacts. I'd like to work as a live-out nanny or carer whilst doing so, am CRB and POVA checked, very experienced and good humoured. Please email me if you're able to help. Thanks Debbie
