My name is Robert Schultz and I am looking for some information on opening a business as a foreigner in Macau. I would be interested in hearing the issues surrounding resdidency, taxes, and anything pertaining to limitations for a foreigner. What percentage of a company may a foreigner own? etc.

I would be further appreciative to hear the regulations concerning foreigners wishing to operate in the gaming industry.

Its quite simple. Apart from your investment. You need a minimum of US$1 000-00 for the business to be registered legally and getting started right away.

This includes lawyer fees, etc..

Hi, i just found a very useful website which may give you guys a bit more knowledge on investing at Macau. This is a gov web, http://www.ipim.gov.mo, they do have english version, but the regulations they refer to which are only available in contonese and portguese.
