Born Free & Equal 26/02/2005-Ever since the Maldivians started to believe the current Maldivian political set-up in needs to be reformed and revolutionized, a lot had been talked about the multi-party democracy, from the streets of Mal‰oo the local web pages of the cyber space. The pro-multi party movement, initially what was deemed as a voice of few dissidents, started to gather momentum, ultimately president himself empathizing with them, openly claiming that he is determined to extend his already bold and beautiful legacy and legend, by introducing multi-party democracy for this Indian Ocean island nation.
