We Are Growing By 30-40% Year Over Year Q: What inspired you to launch your own website, and get into your current business? A: I ran into a friend at the emergency room of a local hospital, we had both brought a friend in for treatment, I used to work with him when we were both auto mechanics. I asked him what he was up to, and he said he was making crazy money opening and closing swimming pools. I am also an internet marketing and advertising expert, so I did a little keyword research. I found an amazing amount of demand and very little supply, so I ran a couple ads via Google Adwords, and my phone rank off the hook. But the best part is the 60% plus conversion rate! The rest as they say is history. Q: Do you hire SEO services and how has it worked for you? A: I handle all the Search Engine Optimization tasks personally, We currently do not have need for outside help. I have considered hiring copy writers to help me with some article marketing, but I am still doing all the writing too. Q: What method has been most successful for promoting your website? A: I have a very successful local SEO campaign. I am listed in Google Places for multiple keywords, and in multiple towns. Most of my local competition has not caught on to the importance of SEO. I use Pay Per Click Advertising to make up for the towns I am not listed in, and also to take up more SERP real estate for terms I am listed for. Q: What makes your website different from other, similar pages? A: We list the cost of just about every service we offer. We explain the service process in a human friendly way. Our competition either does not offer prices and service information, or they do it in a cold perfect business like manner. Q: How does your investment of time and money balanced against your success? A: The beautiful thing about my pool service business is that it is seasonal. It leaves me all winter to build up my online presence. I have nothing better to do during the off season. I have to prepare earlier and earlier every year now to pre pare for the coming season. We are growing by leaps and bounds, I see my company buying up local competition within a couple years and dominating this industry. I may possible franchise pool service and sell leads to my franchisee's. |
