MY DEAR INDIAN FRIEND WHPO WANTS TO BE AN ADVOCATE IN MAURITIUS!YOU MAKE ME LAUGH AS IT IS SO HILARIOUS THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN WRITE ENGLISH AND YOU WANT TO COME HERE AND BE AN ADVOCATE. YOU MUST BE JOKING. PEOPLE LIKE YOU ARE NOT WANTED HERE BECAUSE OUR LAWYERS AND ADVOCATES ARE OF A VERY HIGH STANDARD. YOUR ENGLISH SOUNDS LIKE A PRIMARY SCHOOL KID WRITING HIS FIRST ENGLISH STORY. SO, STAY AWAY AS YOU DON NOT HAVE THE STANDARD AND INTELLIGENCE REQUIRED IN OUR COUNTRY. I HOPE YOU HAVE UNDERSTOOD OUR MEAASGE.

Roger, I am disgusted to see the kind of response thats been posted by you. Instead of being helpful, you are ridculing the young ambitious lawyer. Huh! Exceptionally high standards??? If thats the manner in which you respond to query, then surely it speaks volumes about you. But I am sure, the others Mauritius are nice and friendly. Unlike you. Do not bother to respond.

Hello Asad, Feel sorry for the Roger who sent u this homophobic mail but do not mind about it. Well, for the moment, the bill that will allow foreign lawyers to work in Mauritius in still under review and may be enacted in February 2009. However, you will not be allowed to practise but instead, you may still work as a legal CONSULTANT and not as a legal ADVISOR. There are some offshore companies that would may be wish to employ you as well or indian banks also. Try to see these fields and if you wish, I may also assist since I am in the legal field as well. Feel free to respond. Kurt (kurt77@orange.mu)
