we are hoping to retire shortly and have been looking at various countries and would like to know what we would need to do to retire to mauritius, my husband is a carpenter and would like to work and we would like to rent rather than buy, if anyone can give us any information it would be great. thank you

Hi: It sounds as Mauritius is a Hindu country ! it is much more that that .It is chinese budist/catholic Creole and muslim as well and that diversevety makes Mauritius a extraordenary beautiful place to be and proberly live I will retire there in 3 years I allready have my proberty in place. But renting is no problem there is plenty to choose from .at the coast, inland in the highlands, make your choise
