I have been comming down here for 30 years. This place is just now starting to be bought next to the coast....Nayarit is a narrow State that has miles and miles of beaches and these same beach now have access. lights. streets...gringos...so it goes....and lots with beautiful views and peaceful settings all waiting for someone to buy. Unlike the stories of the past this is it everything is secure and modern....heck I live here full time and with 2 kids and 3 dogs and 2 ducks up on a hill with a killer view of the ocean and it just doesnt get any better than this. we fish, surf, eat all kinds of fresh foods that are locally grown and harvested...just great....Its also easy to find a place like this, first you have to come down and see if you like it here.. be open minded remember this should take you bact to a simpler time and less stressfull so this might take you a week just to relax. jeff

I am looking for a villa or house to buy in the carribean or mexico. Do you know where would be a good place to buy and something that is not so expensive. I want to retire where its cheap to live and nice weather. What is cost of living there?

What kinds of properties are available to purchase? What are the prices like. We are planning to travel to Nayarit later this year and would like to price out the area for possible retirement.

Also, could you suggest vacation rentals or other places to stay?

Looking for a Casa or Appartement;All furnished if possible .

2 Bedrooms; Washroom; kitchen and living area. Also someplace to park my Van.

if possible directly downtown. Walking distance to all necessary conveniences;

This would be from November to March every year.
