I am a local coordinator for the Council on Educational Exchange and am in search of a host family for the coming school year. The exchange student is 16, from Germany, and will be arriving August 20th. She is fluent in English, fully insured, and very excited about living in the United States.Host families need the following: -a bed for the student (she can share a room) -a quiet place for her to study -an open heart I was an exchange student twice and my parents hosted two students, so I know both sides of the equation well. I would be the connection between the school, student, and family. I would really like to keep her in the Ann Arbor area - I think it is a great place for an exchange student!
