Bigfoot and the Michigamme Trolls

The U.P. is a land of tall tales. Few are taller than those found in Bigfoot and the Michigamme Trolls (title yearn). The Curse of the Cross-eyed Moose is set in Sagola in the early 30s. Evolution and Grandma Hoppola's Fine Jersey Cow takes place on the Black River near Bessemer. The Ablusion of Tim McGreen involves an Alaska member of the Lake Ellen Hunting, Fishing, Camping & Literary Society. Glad to send a review copy of this amazing small book. Audio version available, 2 CDs. 218-525-3266. lloydmattson@charter.net.

Sorry had to do that one message up above, but seriously. Has anyone heard of a bigfoot sighting in Marquette. Specifically(sorry if I spelled that wwrong) in Big Bay(Powell Township). I'm writing a book and I just want to know if its even possible or heard of that bigfoot may exsist in Big Bay or any other place for that matter.

Born & Raised in the U.P, 20 years, can't say I ever saw a Bigfoot, but I can certainly say I have encountered UFO's.

I know for a fact along with many, many others who have seen them

as well...

My uncle was in the wood of Ironwood, Michigan in a small camper trailer. He works for the DNR so he stayed out for that night, while he was sleeping he camper suddenly had been lifted on one side and slammed back down.

i think that bigfoot is a bunch of mumbo jumbo and it can sometimes make me think that he is real but most of the time there are things that make him look like a fake.

Sincerely

susan!!!!!! BIGFOOT !!!!!!!!!!!11

I saw Big foot one time when i was hunting in the U.P. of Michigan there I was watching my bait pile waiting for a deer to show up then I saw something moving through the woods and it was big. It poped out right at the bait pile ate a whole suger beat in one bite. I put my scope on it and told my self the only way anyones going to beleive me is to shot it dead so I put the cross hairs on its chest and let the 270 rip it took off running I sat there for a bit to let it die then I went to look for blood there was 2 inches of fresh snow I looked and looked but no blood anywheres I found hair at the bait pile. I swear it was bullet proof because I don’t miss. Every year I hunt the same spot hopeing to get a nother crack at it but I bring the 357 mag with me now. So I guess you can say I'm hunting Big Foot And I will be the first to bring one in.

You doubters, justread my book. You'll see. That bigfoot was real.

Trolls live below the bridge, hence all folks from the decadent Lower Penninsula are trolls to noble Yoopers. Lloyd

"chance"

you want my theory on why there is NO SUCH THING?

it ain't in no book.

and I'm not talking about science books or history books. sure cultures all over the world report similar animals.

I'm talking about cook books.

before western science admitted to the existence of mountain gorillas they were already well known by the locals, including how to cook them.

yet this animal that you insist is all over the world appears in no cook book.

and I'm sure you'll argue that not every animal is edible, so they don't make the cook books... I'd say you have a point with cold blooded animals who might have venom, poisons or other toxins... but find me a warm blooded animal with any of those things.

"Real as it gets."

One only has to look at the vast wilderness in this country yet untrampled by man. No roads or trails just wide open country. If Bigfoot is a close relative to human beings then it stands to reason that there is intelligence and an inherent will to survive. Most wild animals avoid us until we invade their ground. All these sightings are just that... An invasion of sorts and thus a sighting. Millions of people believe in God out of blind faith. No pictures. No audio. Just faith. We have both of this creature living in the deep woods. Just watch the Patterson-Gimlin film with open eyes instead of a smirk. Experts can't say it's fake. Everyone from genetic scientists, professor's of anthropology, and right down the line to professional's in hollywood still unable to produce a suit like skeptics believe used in that film.

There are dozens of animals and things discovered every year. I think it's only a matter of time until a bigfoot is captured or a corpse is found. In my honest opinion I believe people are scared of what they don't know and understand, therefore it has to be fake. Bigfoot is as real as it gets and one day people will be watching as it takes center stage. Of course, it will be dissected and prodded, undoubtedly killed in the name of science. I just hope they find two.
