Wanting to relocate to the U.P. I have lived there before and know the weather situation. My background is in city/county government: law enforcement dispatching, community corrections (probation) administrative support, as well as other skills including detailed documentation, dispatching (outside of law enforcement), along with 25+ years of dealing with the public in difficult situations (irate customers, domestic assault victims, and the "criminal element" for some examples). I grew up in Detroit and have lived in Minnesota since 1985. I am descended from UPers: my great-great grandparents married at Copper Falls in 1852. Anyone looking for the type of skills I have listed is encouraged to reply. Trackbacks

I am looking to relocate to the U.P. within the next couple of months, and am looking for any kind of factory, assembly, general labor type of work. I have experience in the accounting, clerical and substance abuse life skills instructor fields, but am willing ( and wanting) to relocate to this area.I am 56 years old, single and desire to live out my days fishing, hunting and enjoying the best of Northern Michigan. I live now in Battle Creek, MI. MY p0hone number is (269)965-1124. Any ideas or suggestions, as well as possible job leads would be appreciated.
