I am in mid Michigan and do Barn Demolition and on site Milling. I am Looking for Barns in the Area between Lansing , Flint and Saginaw. I will trade Demolition for Materials. We care a great deal for these pieces of history and hate to see them Burned or rotted and unused. The work is dangerous, labor intensive and dirty and about as profitable as the time spent doing it. We are experienced professionals and pride ourselves on our referrals of satisfied owners. When a Barn has a leak in the roof it starts to rot quickly and is no longer salvageable. The cost to demo at that point can be $7, 000 -$10, 000. Please contact us before its too late for your barn. Give it a second chance. | "100 year old former dairy barn needs to be removed and cleaned up"
I have a 100+ year old former dairy barn with an added on shed in the back. The shed's roof has since fallen down, but the walls remain. The barn is structurally sound, but the ridgecap has blown off a long time ago, and there is some water damage to the tops of the beams. Three sides of it are great weathered wood with faded traces of the old red paint on it. I would like the barn to be taken down and all I would like from it is enough wood siding to finish the inside of my new barn. Otherwise I would like someone to dismantle/demolish and clean up the site so it is safe for equine traffic. There is alot of old junk inside that needs to be hauled away as well for scrap metal? If interested I can email pictures. I would like someone to do the dismantle and removal in exchange for all the materials (with the exception of the amount of wood I previously mentioned.)Barn is located in Upper Michigan, near Barbeau, MI 49710. |
