I am an American and I live in Korea now with my son and we are both sick of this place. I want to do something meaningful and thought a nice long extended summer roadtrip across Mongolia would be good for him. What are the laws in Mongolia ragarding school? I know that it is mandatory to go to school here in Korea and in America, even if you are foriegn.
Also, I am interested in adoption. I tried adopting from Mongolia before but ran into the whole 6 month stay thing and also the family tried to charge me $10, 000 for the son they didn't want, so I had to stop. Des anyone have any advice on that?
And lastly, would I be able to find any short term work while there? I would just like enough to keep us going on our trip so I don't burn through my savings. I have worked as an English kindergarten teacher for almost 4 years, but I don't have TEFL or any other certification. Though, truthfully, after seeing people teaching that have it, my experience far outways what they have.
Thanks
Shawn and son
