Hello,

I am relocating to Morocco from Canada in February 2007 and would love if anyone could give me advice on teaching English there. I am also qualified for writing and editing (journalism) work, so if there is any information on that, I would appreciate hearing about it.

Any other information in regards to employment or general living information about Morocco would be helpful too.

Thanks!

I appreciate you guys wanting to come work and live in Morocco. first because Moroccan people are doing all they can do just to get away from this country. anway. my name is Karim jebbar. iam a promoter in a IT company. I ve studied english at high tech university. I appreciate english teachers coming from the states and canada. if you're coming to morocco to teach english. then you will be amazed how alot of young moroccan nowadays are interested in learning english. if you're going to live in Rabat. where I guess there's a canadian language center. you will like the city and the weather. the lifetstyle is like any other modern city. the walks of life are different widely that you can observe the richs from the very poor people. the cultural events are so fascinating and often. moroccan food is very good but watch out, do not eat in some what calls restaurant. the prices are different from moroccan and tourists. so becareful they rob you with a smile in their faces.. if you ever need help. just call me at this num +21214241627. I 'd like to help you. during your stay in Morocco. thanks and enjoy your north african visit.

sincerly

I am currently a Projects Administrator for an IT Consultancy firm based in London and Australian born. Previous working history has mostly been in Accounting/Finance based areas and positions both for National and International companies.

I have travelled over many parts of Morocco, and am wishing to continue the journey and stay for a longer term period. To Bill ,

Woww...your post has raised an intereseting discussion....I am actually from Taroudant where you want to have a job opportunity.taroudant is a small , traditional city in the south of Morocco. It does not offer huge job opportunities since it is not an industrial city. But since you asked for any thughts or ideas, here is a personal thaught. Real Estate is booming now in Taroudant especially with foreigners who come to settle in this little town.It is caled " little marrakesh".If you like you can opt for and invest in Real Estate and work o your own.For furhter details , contact me at : watasrga@yahoo.com

Hi I am writing to you after coming across your site on the internet. I am currently a student of French at Swansea univeersity in South Wales UK. I am however currently living in France after spending a year here in Lyon studying on an exchange programme as part of my degree. I will be a final year student in September of this year. This summer I due to come ro Rabat, Morocco and spend 2 months there staying with a family. I am currently in search of work and was wondering if you would have any information for me. My native language is English and I also speak French and was therefore wondering if these languague skills could be put to use in Rabat for the two months I will be there. I am very keen to gain work experience whilst staying in morocco.

I would be grateful of any information that you have for me.

Thanks very much

Kimberley Marie Jarman
