My partner & myself have just moved into Beira and desperately would like to meet up with any / all ex-pats, especially you English/Afrikaans speaking ones.

I have been out of South Africa for almost a year now (7 months in Mauritius) and very badly need to find some people around in a similar situation.

We both work for CMC Africa Austral, Sulbrita.

Hello Natalie,

i am bea from germany and i will come to mozambique either on october to work there as an volunteer. i will live first in beira. all in all i want to stay one year there.but maybe i will also work in maputo. what is your job there ? and where do you live? may we can meet each other to discover this new world, or you can give me some good advices , what to do , or what to bring with me. may you want to stay in touch ich would be happy!!!

Hi bea

Sorry I am only replying now, have been in Sa for a while. I would love to meet you once you get to Beira. The only advice I can really give you is to come with an open mind, and be prepeared for the heat. Other than that we are still pretty much finding our feet and so not much else I can tell you at the moment.
