Q: Tell us about the business behind the website

A: We are a distributor of VarroBook� interpretive �flipbook� systems and other products for the presentation of exhibit/display information and graphics at Museums; Historical Sites; Zoos; National and State Parks; Interpretive Centers and other public exhibits.

We are a small privately held veteran owned company.

Q: When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

A: We launched Interpretive Design Solutions in 2010. We wanted to have a website that actually showed our products in use across the country. We currently have about 50 Varrobooks installed in a variety of exhibits including the Smithsonian Air and Space, Smithsonian National Zoo, several botanical gardens, national parks, visitor centers, nature centers and similar venues!

Q: How did you decide on a name for your website?

A: Interpretive Design Solutions is descriptive of what are product, Varrobook is designed to display: Interpretive graphics and information. These are common terms in our industry.

Q: What is your eventual goal?

A: We would like to develop a steady flow of clients through our web presence and word of mouth in the industry of museums, interpretive centers, national parks, etc.

The community is relatively small.
