About the Artist and his work.
Norbertus Verduijn was born in 1958 in the old city of Amersfoort near
Amsterdam, only streets away from were Piet Mondriaan (1872-1944) was born and raised. Norbertus moved in 1989 to the picturesque art village of Garderen located in the Dutch Veluwe.
From the day Norbertus could pick up a pencil he drew and painted. Largely self-taught Verduijn has mastered unique painting techniques rarely exhibited…...
Norbertus paints on canvas and wood with acryl- and oil paints. His style is exceptionally colorful and exhibit a complexity of space, shape and subject. His works and techniques reflect an interwoven classic and modern style. His work measure 1 by 2 feet to 5 by 7 feet.
