SPRING TOUR '07 BEGINS THIS WEEK!! MainStream Wrestling Entertainment, Canada’s busiest independent pro wrestling circuit located in Dartmouth, NS, is about to embark once again on Atlantic Canada's most anticipated pro wrestling tour of the year- the MSW Spring Tour '07! This will be the 6th annual road trip of its kind, and the second time the company combines 2 provinces on the schedule, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. MSW brings a dozen exciting wrestlers to the front of the bill for ten spectacular nights this year, giving fans a wide variety of talent to witness.
Honky Tonk Man has an unprecedented track record for holding the WWE's second largest prize - the Intercontinental Title - for the longest consecutive period. With over two decades' worth of knowledge in tow, Honky has explored the world and faced the greatest of all-time. Since 2004, HTM has been a regular attraction in MainStream, proving to be a consistent draw since his debut with the company. "I've had more fun on the road touring with the guys in MainStream Wrestling than any other Indy promotion, " Honky said in a recent interview. "They're the most diverse group of guys I've seen. I enjoy being around the young guys who have so much fire for the business, " he once said. Fans of all ages love to see the Honky Tonk Man do his thing and will have the chance to see him live in action in all ten towns.
Jason Rumble is another exciting attraction, adding a burst of modern-day energy to the nightly cards. Jason has worked in NWA-TNA rings and his talent has gained him several runs as NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion. The "Boston Bad Boy" is a well-traveled competitor of the mat game and shows off something for everyone when he's in the ring.
Like Rumble, Grimez comes to MSW from Boston, Massachusetts. Standing an amazing 7'0", the face-painted monstrosity stands over the competition as the tallest wrestler to ever step into the MainStream ring. His presence should be something to see, come
April 26.
Title belts will be at stake this coming week. Nashua, New Hampshire's Legion "Freakin'" Cage returns to MSW, this time to defend the New England Cruiserweight Championship, making it the first time this United States belt has been at stake in Canada. A former MSW AC Titleholder in 2002-2003, Cage arrives back in the Maritimes on the heels of a successful reign in Florida.
"X-Ray" Kyle Kruze remains the current Atlantic Canadian kingpin, enjoying his fourth reign with the gold. He will defend his belt throughout Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, too. A combination of flashy maneuvers and grappling has made Kruze an exciting
commodity for 6 years.
Lance Romance and JX Phlex will appear on the NL side of the tour, representing their homeland and the Newf World Order; Nova Scotia's "Lumber" Jack Johnson has become anticipated in many cities, particularly Bonavista, NL; Sidewalk Sam will attempt to
hitch a ride to each town on the calendar, along with his father, Papi. So long as there are wieners for Papi to swallow whole, recyclables for Sam to cash in, and passers-by to drop some change into their cup, the entertaining duo should arrive safely in each
town.
On the Dave Doolittle's show to kick off the tour, MSW goes retro with Scott Savage, the returning Paco Loco, Johnny "Scotia" Soul, and some surprise guests that became synonymous with classic Doolittle's events. They'll be revealed that night especially for this spectacular reunion supercard! You won't want to miss this blockbuster show!!
