Hi Divya

Even I also got the offer from Globacom and it seems to good to be true 20000$ PLUS Salary 5 room mension, insurance and others benefits.I understand in telecom salaries are higher but before

leaving the job consider these few facts about the job offer

Well First of all recruiter is using http://hotmail.com and yahoo.com

ask your husband to write a mail on the gol-telecom.com id and it will bounce back.

Go to google try the company information for Gloworld.com and you will find the address mentioned is diffrent from the address that is mentioned in is diffrent.Try calling the number and ask if there is any subsidery of this company with name Globacom and you will find the answer as no.

If your husband has already replied to his offer They have two things from your husband Your husband passport number and probably his signature also.

At the second step they will ask you to bear some cost they wil ask you the bank account number of your husband as per company policy they will say that we have to submit 1/2/3/ months salary in advance to help the expat in coming to nigeria you will think the company is already sending you 70000 $ and why you cant risk may be 250$ WELL THATS THE NET THEY HAVE GOT THEIR FISH.

Please ask your husband to loook in to finer details before making a rush at the offer also follow the link

Looking for information on scams. I have been chatting with a 35 year old man by the name of Ben from Lagos, Nigeria. He 'carried loads' for work. (I am not really sure what that means) Now he says there is no work available , he has no money to pay rent so he got evicted.

Now he lives under a bridge, homeless....unemployed.

He claims there are no jobs available and only if you know a 'higher up' person, such as someone in politics would you be able to secure a job. Is this true?

He says there are no 'soup kitchens' or 'shelters'.

Yet he can find a way to get on the computer. He asked me to send him money for his rent. He has asked me several times to send him money so he can eat. I have refused to do that. He says his parents are deceased and he is an only child.

I was just wondering if this could be a 'sympathy' scam.

If anyone has had a similar experience please reply.

Thanks,

stilnodate
