Please tell me whether the offer is good, How is life in Nigeria,

What is cost of living there.

I have family. so is it safe to be there with family

The problem is that it is probably a bogus job offer... you'll be asks to pay for a visa and/or other fees (refundable of course)... except after you make the payment.. that's it!

Your money is stolen.

Hi guys,

I am afraid I do not agree with Bubba but also advice that you test and check everything. How did you get the job? was it advertised? was there and interview? Were you contacted from Nigeria etc. Though there are silly thiefs out there in Nigeria, I think you will agree with me that tere are thiefs every where in the world.

I won't leave my home country unless I am very sure I have a job and everything is tested and confirmed. I have a friend leaving for Lagos state in Nigeria tomorrow and employed by the state govt. He went to Nigeria and did interviews etc...is this the same case with you? I must say the money you guys are offered are quite huge sums but then I am not sure what is paid in Nigeria.

My advise is CHECK CHECK and CHECK AGAIN. Contact the company directly without using the details you were given. Most of the guys mentioned above should have websites and HR contact details on them. No all Nigerians are bad so don't miss a good opportunity when it comes but then you can not be too carefull

we are working in qumecs nigeria limited and it is one of the worst company which i have seen in my carreier of 8 years . THIS COMPANY MANAGEMNT AND THE MD IS A MAD DOG . HE DOES NOT HOW TO BEHAVE WITH EMPLOYEES AND ALSO HE WON'T DESERVE THE POSITION OF MD AND HE GOT THE POSITION . HE IS BELOW THE LEVEL OF SECURITY MAN.

i will suggest that if any body gets offer from qumecs nigeria limited , reject it and also it is not the company where professional and also human beings works here.

during the period of 8 months there was 10 employees resigned and left the organisation.

The initial steps you should undertake, after receiving an offer letter from Nigeria are as follows:-

1. Check with Nigerian High Commission / Embassy in your respective country, about the company (Zenith and Dana Group are genuine)

2. Before you board for Nigeria, you need to have STR Visa (Subject To Regularisation)

3. For STR Visa, you will need specific documents from your recruiting company. Like - Appointment letter, Certificate of Incorporation, Expatriate Quota approval letter, Business Permit

4. These documents are verified by Nigerian high commission and if genuine are provided STR Visa
