Over 80.000 people reached during massive awareness campaign (rally and football competition)
64 teachers trained to HIV/AIDS prevention
Over 5.000 pupils and over 200 mothers received prevention education
About 10 nurses trained on Universal Basic Precautions (UBP) on HIV/AIDS cares and support programmes.
These are some of the amazing results achieved by the Center for HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted disease research (CHISTRE) in the rural communities of Oguda, Imo states, Nigeria.
Help us continue our mission with a small gesture that will help us get more efficient.
We need computers, laptops, printing machine, scanning machine, laminating machine, binder machine, projectors, office tables, used vehicle (bus or small car) for staff movement, motorbikes to reach communities in case of emergencies and generators as we dont have electricity in the community.
