I have a 1800's old hand hewn log home I am wanting to be removed from my property. I can supply pictures if needed. The home has been lived in recently but not now. I have a 200 year old hand hewn log home that is covered with barn siding on the outside, the home is around 4000 square feet. The home is two story and has one room they called the rock room which is made out of nothing but old rocks. The home will need to be torn down and removed from our property. It also has a rock fireplace in the home. I can email anyone pictures of the inside and outside if they want. Mike,I just bought a piece of land in central NC and now have an old, probably 80+ year old barn that I will be selling. It has some decay to parts of the bldg, but a majority is still in good shape. We dismantled our late 1800's hand hewn, post and beam barn. We have 24' beams and 14' beams as well as some barn siding. Some wood is oak, some chestnut and hemlock.
