We're thinking of relocating to nova scotia with family ( 2 sons 11 and 8 ) The area arund mahone bay, luneburg looks attractive and we quite fancy buying and running a B & B or Inn. We are unsure of the economic prosperity of the region, the schools and the problems which may arise in seeking immigration. We have a house and business to sell here so would have money to invest in Nova Scotia. We really are tempted by lifestyle that is on offer in Nova Scotia and wish to relocate away from the anti social behaviour so prevelant in the U.K. Can anyone offer advice (positive or pitfalls). Is the grass really greener? We enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle and wish for a better future for our sons

Hi Mike, We have lived in Nova Scotia for 3 years now and the grass is certainly greener and without all the rain. Having gone through the immigration process I now help with relocation and advice. Some info can be found at the website above but for further info you can email me via that site for my attention. All the best with your research into Nova Scotia, Dhyan

Hello Mike, we have been here over ten years and meet many people like yourselves that are looking for a new lifestyle here in Nova Scotia. I would suggest that you come on a fact finding trip and make an appointment with the Regional Development agency in that area they will advise you on what they have to offer and how to start the immigration process...Also go to Halifax and talk with the Provincial Government there they will also tell you how to qualify to come here. I would never suggest using a consultant and paying loads of money for advice also I think that you would benefit from talking with as many people as you can.. I do have a network of families that have been here and were just like you once... take that first step and do your homework and by the time you leave you will know eaxctly what you need to do. I will be happy to advise you further email me if you would like more info June • Page 1 (Original Post) •
