Nova Scotia - Retirement
Retiring in NS for US Citizens

My husband and I are thinking about retiring in Nova Scotia within the next 5 years. We think it is one of the most beautiful places on earth. We are both US citizens, and were wondering what are the immigration regulations for retirees with income in the US. I haven't been able to find information about immigration for foreign retirees, and we are wondering if we even qualify for residency there.Thank you for any information you can provide. Trackbacks

About a month ago, I emailed a couple of questions to Phillip Towsend, the author of the ebook Passport to Canada: The Complete Guide to Living and Retiring in Nova Scotia (). He responded to my questions and was very helpful and polite. If you write to him at canadaliving@aol.com I'm sure he would be happy to offer his input.

Folks try these links. They answer many questions about..working, living, studying etc in Nova Scotia and Canada. Put the www in front of the domains and remove the space between novascotia and immigration . I guess you cannot post websites in this forum. hmmmm novascotia immigration.com goingtocanada.gc.ca
