hi,i'm a 25 year old single male. I come from the eastern part of Nigeria (West Africa). I am a B.Sc. holder in Marketing from one of the prestigious universities in the country, who is in pursuit of a masters degree as well other relevant qualifications. I have been nursing a great desire to relocate to Oman or any suitable area in the U.A.E (preferably, to teach).

I am considering relocating to Oman for employment. As I have a dog, I would like to know if it is feasible to bring her with me. If anyone has experience traveling to Oman or living in Oman with a dog, could you pleae contact me. I've contacted the embassy and dogs are "allowed" in Oman, I just want to know what the local attitudes are towards dogs, and if I will be able to take her, for example, to the beach, or to a park. I am working for a steel mfg co in India. We are setting up a plant in Oman, and we need to calculate the Cost to company for the same.

-Kindly advice me on the average pay package for Omanis, Indias etc with the average pay offered to Engineers, non engineering graduates and workers.

- What are the various components of a salary package that are mandatory as per Govt laws eg in India we have PF, Gratuity etc.

1) food is good and prices are reasonable, but if you cook yourself better

2)renting unfurnished department in decent location in muscat cost nowdays around 150 Om rials but ofcourse there is cheaper options like sharing might cost you 50 Om rials..finally it depends on the location you seek, price might be even higher in some places..

3) for transport, you better buy your own car and budget of 1500 Om rial could buy you decent used car, fuel is cheap

4) medical, I dont have info but normally if you worked for a comapny , they offer medical

What is the minimum salary offered to an engineer with 2 years of experience. With free accomodation and food, will 350 riyals be sufficient to save something. how is life and working conditions at Muscat. Please adivse me.
