Wow. You post saying you might come, and ask what it's like, and all you get is a bunch of people trying to find jobs. You'd think people would actually read the post. :(

Anyhow, you'll find life here is like a very quiet version of the UAE. Large expat population, your wife can easily buy a car/drive/get a job, etc.

I don't know much about the schools since I don't have any kids myself. There are a couple very good schools here for American or British kids that follow the respective curricula. These include the American International School (TAISM), American British Academy, and British School. I know plenty of people who have graduated from them and gotten into highly respected universities back in their home countries. The schools aren't cheap, though.
