I am travelling to oman to work as a teacher for a year. There are five of us going. Just wondering what is the price of a decent secound hand car and what is the night life life?

You can get a decent car for anything from 1500 rials and up, it just depends on your definition of "decent."

The nightlife here is... not very alive. There are a few bars/clubs, primarily in the better hotel. There are plenty of shisha bars, but they're full of Omani men and even if you are inclined towards shisha, they're not the most comfortable when you're female.

Overall, Oman is a great place to live if you enjoy quiet, traditional countries. If you're looking for a thriving night life, you'd probably do better in the UAE or something.

Oman is very beautiful and peasfull but really there is no night parties here too much but there is some descos and bars like safai an capacapana are very nice places contact me if u want a friend dear...92679965
