Can anyone out there advise on what freehold is available in oman for foreigners, and contact number?

Hamptons have not coem back to me despite being the agents for the golf club development!!!

Mohamed - we have checked our office records at Hamptons but find no enqiry from you via email, phone or fax so we are glad we came across this posting. Ministreial Decree (by Royal Order) 10/2004 states foreigners will be allowed to own freehold property in "tourist designated areas". The Royal Decree ratifying this is rumored to be passed in January which will set out what classifies an area as being qualifying. I am sure you will have seen The Wave, Blue City and Yitti Resort, along with Muscat Golf & Country Club have all been granted "pre qualification" and these are the developments foreigners will be allowed to own in. there's a beautiful semi-detached villa in Aithabah, dirty white bricks on the outside, rustic interior.brand new, construction work will be done around mid-april.

it should be available for rent by mid-aprl for anyone interested...
