We are looking for a Software Support Technician in a full time position for a fast growing company, located in Scarborough, ON with operations across North America specializes in the design, manufacturing and marketing of integrated transaction control solutions for the College/ University, Public Library, Government and Corporate marketplaces.This fast paced organization provides complete end to end solutions including hardware and a suite of software solutions for electronic based transactions from its headquarters in Scarborough. Primary responsibilities include:
• System configuration and implementation
• Customer support ( Telephone)
• End to End QA
• Networking Support
• Some Travel in North America Required
Skills and Experience:
• 3 to 5 years experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Clear understanding and experience with MS SQL Server, Oracle and MS Access
• Sound background in networking technology
• Windows 2000/2003/2008 Servers and Active Directories
• Computer hardware and maintenance.
• Customer service experience
• Valid G class drivers license
Additional Skills:
• Computer programming skills
• POS systems
• Microsoft SharePoint Services
Education:
• Information Technology, Network Administration, Computer Programming Diploma or equivalent education
