Bryan Hendrix (208.51.49.156) -

In the planning stages for a trip to Costa Rica. Our theme is Adventure. So far we have decided on a white water rafting trip down the Pacuare River with a two day stay at the Pacuare Jungle Lodge. (if we can get the reservations for our group).

We will also take a canopy(treetop) excursion while there. After that we are thinking of spending some time at the Corcovado tent lodge to do some hiking around there. Then we will end our tour with a few relaxing days on the beach, probably on the Carrebean side, where we may take a waverunner tour and perhaps charter a fishing boat or two.

Anyone who has already been to Costa Rica is invited to offer us suggestions on "must do's" and "must see's" so we can make sure to have the very best time while there. Obviously there is a great deal of information on the web, but we would rather hear from real people who have already been there rather than read sales pitches.

Also, anyone interested in going on this trip should give us a shout via email or by visiting our website where our contact info. is posted.

New members are always welcome, however, people outside of Oregon and the pacific northwest should be aware that we generally fly out of Portland (PDX) so we get group departure rates. Anyone who will need to leave from another airport will not get the cheaper airfare. Just something to consider if you cannot easily drive to Portland, OR.
