Wondering if I missed the boat for moving to Panama. Because I hear now that home and land cost are the same as in the US. I also hear you are now required to deposit $225k where as before it was $125K to retire in the National Bank? I am a home builder back home can I do the same down there. Thanks for the information and help. Pete

I wa stationed in Panama with the US Army. I left in 1999. I would like to move back to Panama in the next 2-3 years. I have an oppertunity to buy land in the interrior. I am a gun collector and would like to know what is the process of getting firearms into Panama legally? Also what is the process for getting vehicles into Panama? The US government took care of everything last time and I have been back to Panama since 2000.
