Hey guys! I'm 24 years old and I am heading to Panama for a year in January. My job has burned me out completely and I want to get away from everything for awhile. I want to work enough to get by, hangout and live life before I have the more serious obligations life has to offer, like a husband or children...or a dog! :)I'm a Finance grad, with a certification in TEFL/TESL and 2 years of marketing and sales experience.
I've heard about people going down to Panama to teach English and I am interested in looking into doing something like that. Does anyone know of any job opportunities for someone with my qualifications?
Secondly, where do young, 20-somethings reside within Panama City? I've read a lot about retirees, but like I said, I'm only taking a short hiatus from the "career world". I want to be somewhere affordable, but still nice, safe and around the nightlife and restaraunts. I don't know, that may be too much to ask...?
Thank you to anyone who can offer input or advice on these and any other related topics!
Elizabeth
