First compare Central America to South America... then you'll easily know that neither Panama or Costa Rica is a good choice (beyond a simple vacation).

Panamá is not expensive like costa rica and we have in this moment a lot american people linving here in diferent place and this project have american citizen living there. if you dont now Panamá take time a come to see what a nice, peace and no expensive place we are.

you are very wrong when you said this 2 countrys is not a good choice, way yoy talk about something you dont now???? only Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and my Panama have a carolina herrera store!!! we are no bad country for living.

Hotels in Panama City are expensive... it is difficult to see which ones have wifi... they leave you stranded a the airport... they charge extra (lika $10/day) for wifi... there is a very poor selection near the airport (which add $54 .. $27 each way) for a taxi ride.

Costa Rica has a much better selection of hotels, especially small, comfy bed and breakfasts near the airport!

I was actually doing some research on Panama vs. Costa Rica .

I found that Panama is much more modernized and the cost of living inexpensive to live in comparison to Costa Rica. Not only that the land for sale in Panama is much cheaper.
