Best Souvenir Shops

I know the last time I went on vacation to Mexico, I didn't really find any good souvenirs. Well, I missed out on the opportunity because I thought I would find a better store. I am looking for tshirts, magnets, the typical stuff. We looked everywhere and the only nice ones we could find were at the hotel store. Even the airport had a very limited selection. Is there an area in/around PC to shop for souvenirs?

There's this store called the YMCA near the Albrook Mall. The YMCA has like a farmer's market full of all kinds of gifts and souvenirs.

Theres a large flea market near Ancon Hill that has a large selection of souvenirs. I think its called Mercado De Artesenia. This place has a lot of items that's made by the local people.

I received some cool t-shirts from my friends when they went for a visit. She said they got them from a shop with in the El Panama Hotel. The name of the shop was Flory Saltzman Mola shop. She said this was one of the best shops and they have other items, too.

Whenever I travel somewhere new, I always ask someone at the front desk to find out the best place to purchase souvenirs. They're usually quite helpful in directing you where to go.

Not that it is bad, they often get a commission too! If they setup a tour, car rental, other hotel, etc for you chances are they are getting a commission.

If you have the time it is best to go exploring yourself so you can randomly run into interesting places and things.
