WANT TO FIND A CAMP GETAWAY! I am interested in buying a camp/cabin on some land that is approx. an hour's drive of State College. $80K or less depending upon how much land. I am not interested in something which has ATV trails. I am interested in peace and quiet.

Hi!

I am looking for 20+ acres in the areas north and west of State College. Definitely on the western side of the Susquehanna. I'm willing to go as far north and west as Warren, but I'd prefer to stay between St. Mary's and State College.

Property can be mixed (fields/woods) but must be at least half woods. I do not want the property to have already been "timbered".

I would consider properties with and without buildings and other improvements. A property with a cabin/small house is something I would very strongly consider. A water feature (small pond, stream, creak, frontage on a larger river) would be optimal.

This will be a weekend getaway where the kids can run and explore. We would also like to use it for hunting, camping, hiking, and other recreational activities. If there is no cabin/house, we will eventually build one so properties with electric, sewer/septic, well/public water are definitely attractive.

Bottom line . . . Even though there are many things I'm looking for, I'm interested in looking at everything out there and finding just the right place.

I'm looking for a reasonable camp to share my love of the great outdoors with my wife, and three children. My children enjoy fishing and hiking. It can just be a few acres. Within an hour to an hour and 15 minutes from Pgh. in any direction. I can not afford much, but I am willing to work on a " fixer upper " Thank you. Hope to hear from someone soon.

We have 50 acres of wooded land bordering state forest in Centre County about 30 minutes southeast of State College. In a gated association with like size lots all around. No cabin on the lot as of yet. Has a small trout stream that is stocked once per year but mostly natives. Just outside Snowshoe with grocery, shopping and light entertainment. Looking for a cabin that has a yearly lease. I used to lease a cabin down in Four Corners outside of Marienville PA many years ago until the old man that leased them out died. Really want to find a place that is anywhere near Marienville or that area. Electricity would be nice running water isnt needed. I dont have alot of money just need someplace small. I am looking for a PA State Forest Leased Campsite. The state stopped leasing these in 1970 but tranfers are still allowed. If you or anyone you know has one anywhere in PA, I want it.

i have almost 3/4 acres of ground with a 3 car garage on it.

it has 3 wells a ceptic and a citrine on it

i had a double wide on it untill kids from around the area burnt it down its located in franklin county in south mountain just off of rt 30 near the calidonia state park.

I have a camp6 miles from Kinsua Dam that i would like to sell due to lack of time to spend there. It is not far from a nice dock at the dam. behind the camp is all Allegany National Forest great for all types of hunting, also the is a fishing hole with rumur has it "good fishing" down back. there is also 2 golf courses not to far from camp.. great horse riding trails too.
