Train to NY

Krishna (68.39.44.237) -

Hi,

I am moving to Easton and work in downtown NY.

Is there a easy way to go there by Train?

As of now, I know that I have to go to Highsbridge, NJ and then take NJ Transit.

I am wondering if there are plans to extend that train line to PA.

thanks

I'm moving to Hazleton PA from Orlando FL, and would like to know when the train system will be coming to that area.

Thanks again

Dianna

The often touted train to new NYC which was used as a ploy by Real Estate sharpies to sell houses in the Poconos to NYC dwellers is a pipe dream and always was. It will never happen.

The proposed train is slower(track conditions)and more expensive than the bus and would leave you off outside the city.

People would take this....why???

Ridiculous.

As of now and in our lifetime the only mass transport alternative is the bus. Martz has a lot of them running. They are expensive but so is driving.

The Pocono Record seems more optomistic. poconorecord.com

N.J. Transit list it as one of their projects. so I think this is more than just real estate companies.

However, it seems funding is still being sourced and I don't see any target completion date yet.

I think it would be a great way to decrease reliance on cars and increase tourism to the area both from NJ and NY.

RailPass provide excellent customer service through their call center, and they have an exclusive online help tool called Railsaver, through which rail passes can be shipped on the same day. All orders, which are more than $349 US, placed online by the customer are shipped to them for free of cost.

I see you are an ignorant spammer with stupid messages, David. NO contact information and no relevance to anything as you are pushing the same rail pass in New York and Argentina! hahaaha

Maybe YOU think you can take the train from New York City to Buenos Aires for US$349!

Get a life! Then get an education!
