Is an education in the Philippines comparable to the United States at all? I hear nothing about good or bad for education in the Philippines. How many years are children required to attend school? Are there both public and private institutions?

OFF COURSE THERE IS A PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SCHOOLS HERE IN THE PHILS...WE HAVE 3 CLASSIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION HERE.WE HAVE THE ELEMENTARY LEVEL( gRADE 1 -6), SECONDARY (hIGH SCHOOL)-4 YEARS, tERTIARY (cOLLEGE)4 YRS..THERE ARE GREAT INSTITUTIONS HERE AND THE STANDARD OF EDUC IS HIGH.
